  Stress of Going to a Summer Convention

  spotted this picture on a friend's page, he was highlighting the mental health issue.

  however,we thought the magazine on stress was deliberately placed in the summer months because for any jw going to a convention, paying high season hotel rates for themselves or their whole family to stay near the convention centre, fighting coworkers and managers to get the time off work, travelling expenses, buying their own meals for the family, buying new shiny suits and dresses to impress (particularly if you have teenage girls who are looking for their prince), and more.... by the time they come home again and straight away back to work, their nerves will be so frazzled that their stress levels will have sky rocketed!.

  A$$emblies and Convention$ are cash cows. I understand the Borg has deals with local Hotels and Motels so the Borg has some loot for the taking,,,,if I'm not mistaken. Plus the interac and debit machines strewn throughout the concourses conveniently located near the washrooms so you have to walk by them. Quietly begging in a quiet way.

  this afternoon i drove by an old hall i attended ( barrington illinois) and noticed that it had been sold, it is now an adventist .

  church !

  now here is my drive-home thinking.. back in the 80's when i attended i was newly married, and had a young child.

  "I do believe selling to another church was forbidden at one point in the 70's. They used an OT passage about giving aid to the Canaanites. I guess in time it was reversed as a result of the nondiscrimination laws regarding real estate sales. "

  Of course when something changes so it benefits the Borg, the Borg takes full advantage of it because it benefits them.

  Yes. We have KH's dedicated to "Jehovah".

  To be sold to another "denomination", or another 'Asian' denomination.

  Should any JW be seen walking into another church, they are worthy of losing everything, including any friend they ever had, also family and possibly employment is likely.

  But, you have the Borg going and selling dedicated property and buildings once dedicated to "Jehovah'' to a church denomination worthy of destruction by fireballs which was once dedicated to ''Jehovah''.

  The thought of losing your job and livelihood and your ability to pay rent/mortgage, bills and food. I mean no stress, at all, right? Yeah no stress.

  This organization really puts people through the mill, when people don't really have to set themselves up for it. A bunch of unneeded stress.

  Fully vaccinated

  i have just heard about a rebellion starting for the kingdom ministry schools this year.

  nobody is allowed to go unless you are fully vaccinated and the unvaccinated are not allowed to watch by video conferencing.. apparently there are many congratulations insisting on recently fully vaccinated meaning to those elders, you had your latest booster recently.

  if it’s been more than six months you are no longer fully vaccinated.. i hear of lots of elders or mss who just do not want to keep taking these injections some haven’t had a booster in months and now they are not allowed to go to the upcoming kms.. that is not really what the letter said, it says all coordinators have to check that all elders are fully vaccinated.

  "I remember expressing concerns over incomplete directions provided at meetings leading up. When I would ask, "What should we do if X happens?" The response from the Elders was invariably "Trust that Jeh will take care of us."

  & there it is,,,the great and grand fix-all, the old end all that Jah will fix everything.
